Cathryn says about herself:
My passion is to help people understand the truth of life after death of the physical body. I have always been intuitive but didn’t really understand what this meant until I was “led” to a Spiritualist church in the early 1980′s. I was invited into a circle to develop mediumship and from there was tutored by many excellent mediums. Over the years my confidence in my own abilities has grown alongside my spiritual gifts of clairvoyance, healing and trance channeling.
I have had many wonderful experiences of communication with the Spirit world and am in no doubt that our lives don’t end when our body dies. I travel throughout the UK giving demonstrations of mediumship, workshops and leading services in the Spiritualist churches. I teach meditation and spiritual & self-awareness classes from my home in Dorset.
I also have officiated at many funeral services which I approach as a celebration of the deceased person’s life and an opportunity for loved ones to come together and share their memories and all that their loved one meant to them.
A few years ago I was invited to take part in an experiment where a recording of my voice was taken before and during trance channeling. The recordings were then analysed by an expert body who traced voice patterns and compared them. They were looking for differences which would prove that when in trance, the voice speaking was a separate entity with a different voice pattern. The results showed significant changes.
I sometimes refer to myself as a “reluctant medium” because I never set out to be one! I had an interest in healing and was looking for answers to the age-old questions of “Why am I here?” ”What’s life all about?” and “Why is my life so difficult?” Somewhere along the pathway of my searching the Spirit world gently led me to becoming a medium! Even to this day, I am astounded and reluctant to give myself this label!
One thing I can say is that they (the Spirit world) are here for all of us, always and that if we only knew what loving beings walked beside us we would never be afraid of life again! We are SO loved, this I know for sure. I also know we don’t die! We go back to place we were before we became who we are today………..Spirit!
